This tripod is well worth the money. It is prone to a bit of shake in the mind when trying to do long exposure shots. But otherwise is quite stable even with my 1200mm lens.

In a studio setting, you'll want a heavy duty Manfrotto etc, but - when you're moving around (especially country to country) - you'll find the Manfrottos etc are too heavy. It becomes a drag.I was looking for a good quality, easy to use, lighter, feature-rich alternative - and this K&F product is it.Easy to set-up and use, plenty of flexibility for shots/video - as well as a sturdy feel for heavier cameras etc.Definitely recommend it.Comes with a GOOD 'sling it over your shoulder' case - which is always useful!

Having used some K&F Concept products in the past it was no surprise to me that the quality of this tripod would be brilliant. For the money you would be crazy not to buy this over a Manfrotto Befree in my opinion. The whole tripod from top to bottom feels premium, from the latches which lock the legs into place to the buttery smooth ball head that pans beautifully to the left and right (can also be locked to stay stationary). One thing I really like about this tripod is the center pole which can be reversed to get the camera as low to the ground as possible, great for getting some really unique shots, on the flip side of that though the tripod can extend very high indeed almost reaching the ceiling in my house! I like how they included the hook on the bottom too so you can add weight to the tripod to increase the stability, good for those windy days which I see many of where I live. All in all it's a great piece of kit and if you're torn between this and something else I'd pick this as the safe option, it's great quality and amazing value for money.

Very good product! Good value. If anything to improve, the 3 legs can be stronger and heavier.

It's a nice lightweight tripod that folds up into a fairly small package. It's good for a travel tripod. Due to its construction materials, I would be careful of dropping it. However, it's a good tradeoff for its weight improvement over my Manfrotto. I wouldn't take my hand off of it if it's windy, but the hook underneath should stead it if you hang a heavy enough bag on it. If you're planning to put an SLR on this that isn't one of those lightweight intro models, I would definitely use a bag weight underneath. Otherwise the setup will be fairly top heavy and a little unstable. The one annoying thing is that the head has a screw in tightener instead of a lever-based clip for the plate on the head. It makes getting a camera on and off a little annoying. It's a small quibble for the price of it ($80 on a Lightning deal, $100 regular) and the feature set you get with it.

Ive had this tripod for about four months now and I absolutely love it. Super durable and decently light weight. Works great for everything I use it for. Biggest plus for me is that the legs are not a spin to unlock instead they are that little flip lock. Makes extending and putting away the tripod so much faster. Also it extends to quite a high height I'm 6,4 and it works fine for straight on head shots if im ever filming myself

I have only used it a couple of times. Smooth and quick set up. I like the various heights and angles that you are able to use. The locks are tight right now, but I feel like they could be sensitive to knocks and bumps or brittle in the colder elements.I am happy with the tripod, if I can get two or three years use, with no broken parts. I will change the ratings too 5☆

So far its everything I wanted on a tripod it has. I use it in a fixed location and it rarely badged when wind blew on it. I purchased this so as to have a quality tripod that would be stable when set up and plenty room for adjustments, but the primary element that attracted me to this one is the ability to tip the head to a horizontal position so as to allow the camera to look down upon a subject. The locking mechanism is really sturdy as well, easy to switch between different position. Diffidently recommend to other ppl
