Exactly as advertised & great for what I want. Substantial feel to the tripod and much better than others I have seen. Great value for money. Good weight easy to carry. Love the fact that the ball head swivels 90o so you can use it for portrait as well as landscape photos. Very pleased indeed!

I bought this stand for an astronomical telescope since at the entry level, the limiting factor in most telescopes seems to be the entirely replaceable wobbly tripod. Although this is a camera tripod, I had no difficulty at all mounting it to a Celestron Travel Scope 70.I'm 6'6", and this tripod extends to a height comfortable for me in a standing position, and is very stable at that height/ Although it has more weight than the aluminium tripod that came with the telescope, it's not at all inconvenient to move or carry. The leg clasps are initially a little fiddly to adjust but easily understood, and the construction is sound and free from wobble - as you'd want.On a more superficial note it's also a very handsome device in brass-gold and black. It's become a permanent fixture in my living room.

When purchasing a tripod there is always this conflict between light weight and high quality.Everyone wants a top notch heavy duty stable tripod but this comes at the cost of portability and flexibility.BEST OF BOTH WORLDSI’m happy to say I’ve finally found a solution, after a few bad purchases through the years.I do a lot of video work so I end up carrying a lot of equipment around. This tripod is now my go to stand for my DSLR on smaller projects. No point breaking my back carrying around my big rig, as much as I like to have all the options.STURDYI’ve used this tripod several time to hold my DSLR static while doing interviews to get another angle and it’s performed flawlessly everytime. It’s steady even without weighing it via the hook.CLIP LEGSI have forever been plagued by tripods with twist adjustable legs, the bane of my existence. The time you spend unscrewing and tightening those legs is a nightmare, especially when clients are impatient. Luckily this tripod comes with clip legs that are a happy medium between loose and reliable underweight. They have yet to slip on me and are easy to adjust in a pinch. Nb. I received this product free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.LOVE :)I’m totally in love with this tripod now and it’s quickly become my favourite, and what about the price! Really can’t go wrong, pick one up – You won’t regret it!

Probably one of the best tripods I've ever used let alone owned. really well built and incredibly flexible and durable when out and about. set-up is quick to and is solid when set-up and tightened.

Overall it's a very good tripod. At first I was somewhat taken aback by how heavy it was, but to be fair the weight is listed so no room for complaint and very quickly get used to it - had it on my back for 30 miles cycling yesterday and hardly noticed it. The legs fix in place nice and firmly and fully extended the camera is eye level and I'm 5ft10, perfect.But....as noted by "Siney - 2 March 2016", I find panning SUCH hard work as although the swivel head seems solidly built, the resistance is HUGE and is impossible to modify. As a result it's not smooth, not because of shoddy construction causing jumps, but it seems that the resistance is hydraulic and will move slowly to begin with but extremely slowly once pressure has built up. It is definitely NOT a tripod for sports or panoramas which is a shame as panoramas was one of the main reasons for buying it.Also the legs don't slide up or down very smoothly, there's inconsistency between legs. Minor point in overall usability but that's not something that you would expect of a tripod at this price level. Once extended, fully or partially the legs are firmly held in place, the leg angling mechanism is very good and once you work out (instructions missing) how to invert the tripod it's very easy to use for downward macros. It's not a top quality tripod but then it's not a top quality price, so 4 out of 5 just about sums it up - good tripod for a good price.

A brilliant piece of kit, ideal for my youtube channel and I can take it on the go with the carry bag and strap, would really recommend.

Unexpected quality...for the price this tripod was marked up for i was expecting a basic piece of equipment that would be good enough for my amount of use however was met with a rather large surprise. The build quality of this is second to none and even the box feels like you have a quality product in hand. It comes with it's own comfortable carry case that has a basic handle and an added shoulder strap concealed inside. The tripod itself...the screw mount fits both my dslr camera and the attachment for the Gopro and has a quick release so you can take the camera in hand without spinning it round on the screw to get it off for smart continual filming. Since my gopro gets the most use i have attached photos showing this connected. It is simple to use, the mount has a spirit level to work with the ball adjustment to get your images perfectly straight or on whatever angle you're looking for. The main stem can be flipped so to mount the camera "upside down" lower down and between the legs of the tripod. The legs themselves...solid...what more can i say, the build quality here still feels excellent with three varying angles and are easy to adjust. One of the legs has a comfortable grip for moving the tripod about while the camera is attached which is a nice feature and as well as the varying angles have multiple varying heights. In order to change the height the legs have clip locks rather than the twist locks which i prefer and work well with no give or concerns of them slipping. It is lightweight for the size of the tripod and folds small enough to use in the handy carry case or to fasten to the side of your camera bag whichever most convienent. It works well and is a solid build and would be good enough for amateurs and professionals a like with no worries about it's durability, in my opinion it is built for purpose and built to last and my review still does not do it enough justice.

Sturdy tripod and holds my DSLR with its zoom or telephoto lens without worrying about my camera falling off. Great Investment!!!
