Excellent quality/price ratio. I almost always use it in manual at minimum light intensity (1/128). The possibility of independently managing the right and left lamps is convenient; the pre-lighting function is very useful: it makes focusing much easier.

Started to get into macro photography and soon realised I would need a flash of some descritption to get the best shots I could. Tried my usual flash which is decent but not wholly suited for some of the extra close shots I make. Looked up this flash unit and thought I would give it a try. Works brilliantly. Even has several modes to help out getting the best shots and each side has independent adjustments to strength of flash light. Can also fire one side at a time which can be cool for different types of lighting needed. Still learning all the ins and outs but I am very pleased thus far with its performance.
