I was amazed by the build quality of the flash, I thought, given the price, that I would have received a "plastic" and instead the object is solid and decidedly well made.
I ordered the flash for a doctor who uses it in TTL on a digital reflex camera and he told me that everything works as it should

Works a treat with Nikon DSLR and 100mm Macro lens, makes all the difference to lighting close up subjects.

Macro photography, think about the ring flash = no shadow. I already have this flash for my CANON equipment for which I have the EF 50 macro, the EFS 60 macro USM and the EF 100 macro USM, I am delighted with it. The insects are very distinct. I needed one for the NIKON equipment, AF 60 macro and AF-s 105 micro nikkor. In the latter case, I had a doubt about the compatibility for the Nikon D300, D2X... Well, good news it works perfectly. So, total compatibility with the D300 and D300s as well as D2X and D2Xs...

It comes in a box. The bag is very good quality, the flash is solid and works well. I recommend it as a first ring flash at a good price.
