Great product at a very affordable price. First one arrived with a battery spring issue but the seller quickly sent me another one which works great. Hats off to the seller for doing this so promptly.

Needed a flash unit to use for dental photography. I've read some reviews, that other buyers used it for this purpose and gave it a try. It works just fine. Also, I had some questions and product support was very helpful to answer them.Perfect flash unit for the price.

This ring flash is pretty easy to use. The controls are fairly straightforward which is just as well as the instructions are terrible. The two preview lamps are brilliant and really helpful. The flash at full power is perhaps a little over the top at close settings and can be very bright. But once power was set at a lower setting the quality was beautiful. Soft enough yet bright enough. As an experiment I set it all to fully automated and the camera to P mode. The exposures were pretty much perfect. I’m quite impressed. For the money it can’t be beat I reckon. The manual says the overall weight is 465g but it’s quite well balanced despite the clumsy looking hot shoe unit. I didn’t notice any weight issues nor any imbalance. The main ergonomic issue is that the very thick connection cable has to stretch underneath the lens which is a little annoying but that’s easy to remedy. Just turn the ring unit so that top is bottom. You just have to remember that left flash becomes right flash. The system works well and is logical. It’s easy to fine tune exposure too as it has lots of flexibility. The light is hard at full power on the Sigma Art 50mm but when it was at 1/32 and 1/16 it was really nice. My tests have been limited so far but really promising.

This flash has a ton of useful bells and whistles. Though I haven't had much opportunity to put this flash through it's paces, I can tell you that it functions as described. I haven't noticed any significant problem with the model light in catch lighting applications, especially if the subject or photographer changes their position to get the desired effect. Though the model light can be shut off, I find it handy to guide or suggest composition. The swivel head allows for cord desired placement and to assist with off camera shooting. Included multiple threaded lens rings allows photographers to use a variety of lens. Flash settings, various lens, model light on or off, off camera ability, and a bunch of other features, all combine to provide a wide range of possibilities and creative uses to the photographer, that far exceed the usual macro ring flash. *Please note, a lot of functions can only be used in combinations of buttons, or multi-functions found in a single button. Read your manual to get the most out of this very versatile flash.

Excellent product, ideal for macro photography. Works perfectly on a Nikon D5300 with 85mm macro lens. Nice case too.

Produces some pleasing lighting effects but supplied instructions may as well be for another product as you have to work it out for yourself.

Note there are SIX adapter rings with this flash - 55mm and 62mm as well as those stated.Very happy with this product after so far limited opportunity to use it - will report back later when I've had more experience with it. Functions well, though, and the flash controls are pretty intuitive to use. Build quality seems good for the price, and the case that comes with the flash is very handy for keeping all the bits together and protected.
