I try to stay in the same family of lens, so right now I have 3 K&F ND filters so everything will look the same.

This filter is the best low-price ND filter I've used so far, only surpassed by filters costing more than 4 times the price. I have not had any vignetting, or "X" shades in my photos, as I know enough not to go past the minimum and maximum markings on it. I believe any reviewers who have negatively rated this product either don't know how to use it, or wanted an excuse to refund it. I'm very happy with mine. The only cons I can think of : Colors are not perfect, but it's nothing that 2 seconds in post processing can't fix. Also, the case leaves a lot to be desired. The outer rings are aluminum and glide smooth. The female thread on the outer ring is 58mm, not the same as the 52mm male thread. So if you wanted to add anything on top, such as a thread-on lens hood, you'll have to account for this size difference. If you're an amateur, or a pro that only needs a variable ND occasionally, and don't want to spend 200 plus on a high end one, there's no reason not to buy this one.

First variable ND filter purchased (all others I have had have been static) and what a difference it makes! So easy to move around, and not having to carry more than one per lens is a real space-saver in the bag!I've experienced no false colour or the infamous X on any images (although I don't use this all the way closed!)Comparing it to a friends premium ND (I won't mention the brand), I could not see a difference at all in image quality. However, the premium ND was a bit stiffer to move around, so it felt like it would stay exactly where left. The K&F one does feel like it may loosen up over time, although this hasn't happened yet a few months in!

It works very well on my camera D500. The size is perfect. It can mount, but I need to take off the sun blocker. It stays in place very solidly because you need to screw a lot. The reason seems that you can unscrew a bit to adjust reflection. It is my first ND filter. The adjustment ring is neat, a little bit hard to use with a sun blocker but otherwise no issue. I found that the adjustment of the reflection is a little bit confusing with the alignment of the ND. However, if you adjust the reflection while looking through the viewfinder, it is beautiful. The adjustment of the ND intensity needs to be done by looking at the filter mostly because you will be able to see the "dots" and where you are located in the ND level. My only con is that the "max" which is ND400 is not working. I've tried every combination imaginable that I could think (aperture, iso, shutter-speed) and it does a mess with huge spots in the middle being black. At n64 and lower, it works perfectly. See image.

Hi K&F ConceptThis ND fully covers all the reason why you need it !! Slow down shutter speed, keep aperture & rotate the filter ring !Keeps the bright highlight's from messing with the exposer. Thank you, Ron Piechotta

Still practicing with it. I will be using with a canon G7x and a mag filter adaptor.

Very easy to use, looks very good material. I love the result. Playing with the white balance you can get much better result. I have tested with ISO 100 f / 1.8 and 1/125 sec. when the sun does not let see anything in the camera, and this has allowed me to put it totally dark and also in a desired tone.
