62mm ND2-ND400 (9 Stops) Variable ND Filter Neutral Density Adjustable Filter for Canon Nikon DSLR Cameras + Lens Cleaning Cloth
SKU: SKU0126
First variable ND filter purchased (all others I have had have been static) and what a difference it makes! So easy to move around, and not having to carry more than one per lens is a real space-saver in the bag!I've experienced no false colour or the infamous X on any images (although I don't use this all the way closed!)Comparing it to a friends premium ND (I won't mention the brand), I could not see a difference at all in image quality. However, the premium ND was a bit stiffer to move around, so it felt like it would stay exactly where left. The K&F one does feel like it may loosen up over time, although this hasn't happened yet a few months in!

It looks good. My only complaint is that the lens doesn’t have some sort of stopper when you’re rotating the element to increase the filter strength. You can just keep turning and it will go around and around, weaker and stronger. You have to eyeball where the peak strength is.

Complete junk. The front glass is so loose that it rattles and turns by itself. Just took it out of the packaging and back in it goes.Edit: 3/15/19- My first one was broken and the front glass moved freely. They reached out to me, issued me a refund, and sent me a new one on them. Have to say, that’s same amazing customer service. Second one is really nice. Flows smoothly and works great!I have to admit I just bought at 58mm from the same brand that came in much better packaging and seemed legit. This one seems like a knockoff!!!

Very good deal, low price but high quality. Took 12 workdays to Germany with free shipping.
To avoid unscrewing the filter while adjusting it just turn it only clockwise, you may turn it a longer range but do it with one hand only w/o loosening it. I do that with polarizers since I lost one shooting pictures of a pond and it came loose and fell into the water.

Great purchase, easy on the wallet and to use. I’m not sure if it’s a drawback or not but you can’t use your lens hood with this filter on your lens. Kinda I guess.
