This immediately became a necessity for outdoor shots. One thing I have found though is that if you accidentally twist it past "MAX" when trying to set the filter density, you may wind up having the filter run a black shadow through the centre of your image. Just steer clear of "max" and you'll get great outdoor shots.

This filter is excellent to capture long exposure photos! I like to use it to capture waterfall shots, even mid day! The variable element is perfect to be able to adjust on the fly without having to switch out filters! I’m excited to continue using it!

Solid, great quality for the price. Perfect for balancing light on blinding days with off camera flash

Works as expected, a much more affordable option in the market.I have not tried the darker ends of the ND spectrum (which I would also advise against regardless) to see if it causes any image degradation. It has worked well so far.

As a beginner using filters on my photography, I didn’t want to invest too much money upfront. I love my ND filter and use it more and more everyday. This product is a great value for your money!

Been using it on a Sony A6400 and it works for the most part. Sometimes certain shade lines are noticeable.Biggest gripe would be that it's 67 threaded on one side and way larger on the outside which means my lens hood can't be used with it and also I would need to buy a whole different lens cap to cover it. Because of those facts, I don't use it as often as I could. Also there's no stops at min and Max settings, it will just keep turning. It also came with dust particles in between the lenses. You get what you pay for I guess. With everything said, I have used it and it has came in handy a few times. Bottom line is, I rather have it than not.
