Bought this hoping to solve the need to stack filters and it’s better then that! It solves the infinite nd filter spinning. With most variable nd filters you just keep spinning around and around, so you end up with those dark x shapes and other issues. This filter has markings and a lever that stops at both ends of the variable nd, meaning you don’t go to far and ruin your shot. Is it the best image quality in a filter (probably not) but it also isn’t 3-400 bucks. So it’s killer for value

The filter works great, but I am unable to use my lens hood on my Sony A7iii with it attached to my lens.

This filter is no good for a wide angle lens. I used the exact same one (brand etc) for my 24-105 and it was great. However on my wide angle it caused distortion and ‘black clouds’. Unfortunately I got back from vacation the day my return date expired so couldn’t return or surely would have.

Needed a FD filter for a video project.Used this on the Sony 16-35 GM lens, fits perfectly.and super easy to use, just adjust to the shade level you want, then its all ready to go.The quality of the filter is super good!!! especially for this price.I might get couple more in the future for my other lenses as well.
