77mm ND2-ND400 (9 Stops) Variable ND Filter Neutral Density Adjustable Filter for Canon Nikon DSLR Cameras + Lens Cleaning Cloth

Very nice filter. Seems to be no difference in image quality. I attached an image I got with the filter attached. It is fitted over a hoya UV filter as well. The lens rotates smoothly and has marks so you know with you are at the min or max. It’s nice to have one on your lens for outdoor shoots so you don’t have to keep swapping out different filters with lighting changes.

Great price and really good quality. I use these on my Canon 5D, Mark IV cameras for video shoots outdoors. They work great and are cost effective.

They don't say it anywhere so its misleading! The thread on the end of it, where you should put your cap on or your hood is bigger than the actually focal length you are using which means you can't put the hood of the same lens you are using while this filter is on!

On an 18mm aps-c lens, the "X" that appears on the stronger settings is bad. I got it for waterfall photography which is often done wide angle. I thought I'd try it, thinking the issue was limited to super-wides or just at higher strength. 18mm DX is 28mm equivalent full frame, and not really very wide as far as wide angle goes. The light/dark distortions begin to appear about half-way to maximum darkness on my 18mm lens. On the plus side, construction and quality are fine.

the cross on the ends is pretty strong, more so than with other nd filters I own

The filter is great. However, this product is shipped without any protective case. I would recommend getting a different product that has a case for your filter, unless you already have something to protect it. Other then that, the filter is of excellent quality and a great build.

No point in spending hundreds of dollars in ND filters when this does exactly what it needs to do. No strange tints, EXTREMELY subtle vignetting.

I like it for it's water smoothing capabilities. It's built well, screws on easily and the settings are clear and easy to distinguish. as others have mentioned you get some vignetting and dirty pics depending on how you have it set and what light is available. I'll keep it in the bag in case I need it for any special pics involving water smoothing. I should say I have a 10 stop fixed for another lens from them and it seemed to perform better, maybe because it wasn't variable??? I can't say for sure, just taking a guess as to why.

This filter is excellent to capture long exposure photos! I like to use it to capture waterfall shots, even mid day! The variable element is perfect to be able to adjust on the fly without having to switch out filters! I’m excited to continue using it!

I used this today for the very first time. There was no colour cast. The pictures were sharp, and processed very well in Lightroom. Canon RP and 24-105L.
