Tamron Adaptall II Lenses to Nikon 1 Lens Mount Adapter K&F Concept M23201 Lens Adapter
SKU: KF06.127
I bought this adapter to mount my dad's old AI lenses to my Nikon 1 J5. I set the camera to Manual as suggested and the whole setup works flawlessly. The camera meters properly. Shutter speed, ISO and exposure adjustments may still be changed freely on the camera. Aperture and focus are of course adjusted manually on the lens. The build of the adapter is very sturdy, and all metal as advertised. I'm very happy with my purchase, and the price was excellent! I works correctly with my dad's old Soligor 2X teleconverter and my Nikon 1 mount extension tubes. I could not be more pleased with this little (but hefty) piece of hardware.

The quality is very good for the price. To have more fun, one shall use a manual focus and manual aperture lens with it."The darkest picture":I used Holga HL-N 60mm f/8 standard lens with it on my V1. The resultant pictures are so dark even set ISO=HI and a pretty slow shutter speed (1/15)."The brightest picture" (Please pardon the blurry picture):I used Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM FLD for test. The adaptor works fine when I used a trick to keep the aperture fully opened (ISO=200, exposure time=1/15)."The reference picture":Under the same condition (ISO=200, exposure time=1/15), taken by NIKON 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 (F4.5).

This lens adapter doesn’t enable the autofocus function, and you must set your Nikon 1 camera to manual, manually focus and set your aperture and/or shutter speed.
I use a Nikon 1 J1 and experimented with several Nikkor F series lenses. Once you have the right settings, you can get some great imagery. I recommend this adapter if you have a lot of Nikkor lenses and want to save money, but remember this: If you use this adapter, you must go manual.

I bought this to connect my Nikon1 J5 to my ZEISS microscope. It was reasonably priced and worked without any problems.

To be honest, there is a genuine adapter called the FT-1 for the Nikon1, which is definitely a better product.
However, there are some old Nikkor lenses that cannot be attached due to the shape of the rear end of the lens.
I purchased this because I wanted to use such lenses.
As it is just a tube that converts the mount, all shooting must be done manually, but it should be no problem for enthusiasts who have been using old Nikkors for a long time.
I also think that the accuracy of the flange back length is not bad.
It is on the cheaper side for similar products, so it might be a good idea to have one as an effective weapon for when you can't use the FT-1.

Can I use my Nikon 1 V1 with Nikkor SLR lenses?

I bought this to use the Sigma 70-300 with the Nikon 1J5.
The equivalent of 810mm is amazing, but it seems like I need to increase the shutter speed quite a bit to avoid camera shake. To do that, I also need to increase the ISO.
It's a good learning experience from the manual (lol)

Minimal sales packaging, the adapter ring arrives inside a plastic box well protected by bubble wrap.
I would like to point out that I repurchased this adapter ring for Nikon 1 models because I lost it, I have been using it for years with my Nikon lenses on my J1 equipped with a Nikon 1 mount.
Keeping in mind that the camera can only be used in manual mode and it is not possible to use the automatic focus, good build quality and it works well.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Feels like good quality and well made. Lenses fit well.

A LOT better than I was expecting. High quality material and nice firm fit.
There are a lot of caveats with an adapter like this:
1. NO aperture control at all (lenses will be at the lowest f stop by default)
2. The camera MUST be in creative manual mode or it will not take pictures
3. You must manual focus, so any electronically driven focus will not work, unless the focus ring is physically coupled with the focus mechanism.
4. You have to correct perspective distortion manually
5. Metering is fine but you’re in full manual, so you must set exposure.
