This filter is excellent to capture long exposure photos! I like to use it to capture waterfall shots, even mid day! The variable element is perfect to be able to adjust on the fly without having to switch out filters! I’m excited to continue using it!

This is what I don’t understand: Why sell these, which has an issue with the “ x “ or cross blur or whatever it’s called, and then sell a better version that doesn’t have that issue for around the same price? Had I known that beforehand, I would have just went with the better version on the first purchase. I would return these, but I found out too late that I can’t go past a certain stop. I guess I should have done my research. Pros: Build quality seems great. No issues with threading on my a6400. Glass seems high quality.

Needed a FD filter for a video project.Used this on the Sony 16-35 GM lens, fits perfectly.and super easy to use, just adjust to the shade level you want, then its all ready to go.The quality of the filter is super good!!! especially for this price.I might get couple more in the future for my other lenses as well.

Vignetting, in every position. This ND Filter was a waste because all images came out with darkened edges.
