So got this brand new. I have about 3 other SDHC cards, most are micro SDs and I use an adapter with it. I also have a slightly older SDHC USB 2.0 adapter to put the card in. Well, I try to copy something to this thing right out of the box, and it throws a "This disk is write protected" error. Well, it is set to unprotected. Tried locking it, try again, same error. Flip the switch back to unlock, unplug the adapter, plug it back in. Same message. Never had an issue with any SDHC card, normal/micro, even from Sandisk. So,I ordered another USB adapter for $10, and will see if it resolved the error that supports USB 3.0. I have an older Dell AIO desktop computer, it is like 5yrs old, it has a built in SDHC reader, I put the card in that, and had no problem copying files to this card. So, be forewarned, if you don't have a more current USB adapter reader, might grab one of those as well, mine didn't work. Otherwise, it is a card, and it works. What more is there to it?
