Purchased a new camera for an very long, inside Alaskan Cruise and since we are going to be taking a lot of pictures and we are going to be away from our computers for several weeks, we wanted a card that we could fit a ton of picture on. This SD Card is rated UHS-1 (for video) and an SD speed class 10, with 6 or better recommended for our camera. Using a Memory Card Calculator(dot com) site it is estimated using JPEG or RAW, 20 megapixal camera and this card, we should be able to take (are you sitting down) 21333.33 pictures using JPEG and 2133.33 pictures using RAW. 2133 / 16 = 133 pictures per day ... this card is plenty. But of course we will take a smaller backup, just in case.

Bought for Game console well over a year ago and haven't experienced any failures. Sequential writes are significantly faster than my older 16GB SD card. Random access reads are painfully slow, but you can't beat the capacity for the price. The write protect switch on the side is kinda loose. If you get write errors, double check to make sure the switch is in the fully unlocked position.

A little pricey when I got it, but it was a big step up from by 2gb and 4gb lexar cards. I use this in my Sony A6300 and it works great. There is a little bit of lag when saving after a long video, or a burst of photos that you need to keep in mind. You can keep shooting, but if you need to review the images, you need to wait for the card to finish writing. Next time I need an upgrade, I will buy one that has a faster read/write speed.

We went on a trip to Europe and bought this card so we wouldn't need to keep track of multiple SD cards. 128 gigs was more than enough to hold thousands of images (most of which were shot in RAW), and a few hours of 1080p video (shot at 60 fps using Sony's XAVC codec). We were using a Sony a5100, and this worked great. Its writing speed was super quick, and the transfer speed of moving files from the card to the computer is very fast. After buying this card I regret buying lower storage cards; this will probably be the only card I use from here on out. For recreational photographer/videographers like myself, this is more storage than will ever be needed on any trip.

Got this for my husband. He has had it for a few months and has not mentioned any problems. Therefore ... the disk must work at or above expectations and this allows me to give it five stars - for I love it when he doesn't say something isn't right.

I've had it for about a week, and it's been great. I use it to store movies, pictures, and music. After a few day/weeks, I move the files to my external disk drives for archival. This memory card is great for having zero lag! External hard drives idle, which creates lag (about 3-4 seconds), on computers when you need to access a file. I use the card in my late 2013 rMBP. I love the extra space in such a small size!! Only complaint, is that it sticks out the side of the notebook, about 2 cm, but it's no big deal. That makes it easier to grab!!

I got this to avoid swapping out cards in the middle of a vacation. With my particular camera, this card will hold 7000 RAW images. The only downside is its speed is limited to 80 MB/s, significantly slower than the 64GB version of the card. Panoramic and other high-speed photos will not work well - the card buffers too soon. But in terms of massive storage for a reasonable price, this will do.

Works great in our Canon Camera. I save the photos and videos to our computer, edit them, then also use this device as one of two backups for our lifetime of photos and videos (20,000+ photos - 1,000 videos). The size will accommodate many more years of photos and videos.

I use this as my daily driver for my Nikon D3300. I can hold over 4000 4k resolution photos. I use it mainly to shoot 1080p video. I have not come close to filling it up and download speed from it to my computer are decent. It's actually too big for my needs. I shoot 5 to 20-minute videos for my youTube channel and I hardly ever go over 5 gigabytes. If I had to do it all over, I would have gotten a much smaller one but I won't take off a star since that's my mistake.

Tried to fill this 128GB camera card with all that the UK has to offer. My Canon still reads 9999 pictures left, and that is with at least ten 5 minute videos, in addition to all the pics. Inserted into any device, it cycles through the pics quickly. Good product.
