Every location, even within your own house might yield a different result. You have to 'scan' each time you move the antenna to see what works and what channels you get. It is my backup and hooked up to the TV that is primarily used for the security cameras.

This seems like a quality product and I'm sure it's worthy of all the positive reviews it's been getting, but it wasn't a good fit for us. We live in Greensboro, NC and cannot receive the local NBC affiliate via a standard TV antenna. The station is out of Winston-Salem just to our west, and I've heard that their broadcast antenna is in Pilot Mountain, further west from that city. All in all, we're looking at a 50 mile distance. One of my neighbors bought this product and now is able to get the station. Given that the antenna is labeled as having a 50-80 mile range, I thought this would be perfect for us. It works well on the usual stations that we get, but we were only able to get the NBC station for just a few seconds, and this was with my husband holding the antenna up in mid air (see photo). We tried putting the antenna on a nearby window, but that didn't work either. As mentioned, I'm sure this product will work well for many, but there's something about our location that just isn't making it possible. Next possibility: An antenna on the roof.

+easy to install+worked as advertised+no gimmicks+got 41 channels (including NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, CW)-coax could use a little more length

With this product, I was able to get 18 local channels on my tv. The set-up was super simple and easy to follow. The picture tends to go in and out in inclement weather, but that is stated in the product overview, and it was only a few channels. I didn't stick the antenna to my wall and haven't had any issues. I would definitely suggest this product to anyone who asks.

Very easy to install. Total time from switching from old antenna to this less then 5 min. Instantly I was able to boost from 28 channels to 96 channels. What a deal.

Fit into back of TV perfectly, and got way more channels than expected. Recently “cut the cord” and wanted for local news, but got so much more! Both video and audio quality at top notch. Don’t forget once you install to use the search function on your TV to find all the channels, you will be surprised how much you get for free!
