The picture quality is fantastic, and it does a better job of pulling in channels than did the last indoor antenna I tried. I still have to fiddle to get ABC (only 32 miles away). But the other networks and something like 40 other channels are picture perfect. The review page asked for separate ratings for pic quality, durability (I haven't had it long enough) and ease of assembly. I gave only 4 stars for the last one. It's VERY easy to assemble, but the reception for that one major network requires constant fiddling with how the cords hang or are coiled, or where the antenna itself is placed. I'm guessing that would be the case with any antenna, especially one at this price. And like I said, it's MUCH better than the other one I tried.

I am an unbiased reviewer. The antenna arrived when it was supposed to. Was super easy to set up with great instructions. I tried it in several different locations to get the best reception. It got great reception, even without the extender, and had amazing picture quality. I will definitely be getting more of these as gifts. Would definitely buy again!

I would lose picture and or sound. A trade off you may get from "better" digital than maybe a little snow from analog. I thought maybe a bigger antenna (I have been using a 9" inexpensive antenna ) with an amplifier might lessen the frozen images I have been getting.This antenna did not lessen that and I saw no difference when using the amplifier. I have always gotten s good signal in analog with the OTA stations so I must be close enough to all the local stations. Perhaps I might have seen an improvement with the amplifier if I was farther away.

Got this for my dad after I canceled his cable TV... First setup and location near the window gave him a handful of channels. They came in very clear. Moved it to attempt to get more local channels and voila, picked up the major local networks he wanted. He's happy watching golf and Jeopardy!

It is not expensive. Compared with the month cable bill, it is worth. Mine works 40 miles from tower and find about 34 of the local 41 channels.
