Very simple to use. Slap the lens on one end, the camera on the other and BAM! You're taking pictures like it's 1964 all over again. Only you've got focus peaking and 1:1 zoom to check focus and not just a microprism from the days of old.
Very solid, all metal construction. Miles better than the FTZ!
If you've got an old Soviet lens, or any of the old M42 Super Takumars, this one is the best one. Eyes closed.
I've got two of these (one for Nikon Z, one for Fuji X) and the quality is very consistent. Its only caveat is that it includes no caps at all, which at this price point is a bit ridiculous.

I have a large number of old Rokkor lenses with matching filters from pre-digital days, which have sat in a case unused for more than 20 years. When I bought my Nikon Z50, I decided to try this adapter. Although the lenses have to be used with manual focus and aperture control, they work perfectly on the Z50 with this adapter. The results are excellent.

I needed an adapter as I just bought a vintage Contax lens. The order came within 2 weeks. The adapter came in a sturdy plastic box, inside the adapter was in bubble wrap. You mount the Contax lens first by depressing the pin on the front ring. To mount the adapter and lens to the Z body you depress the mount button on the body. On initial use it seem very tight. There is no play or wobble. The fit is very reassuring. Overall I am satisfied.

Had just bought a vintage Contax lens in C/Y mount. Decided to try this one. Took 2 weeks and arrived packed in a box. Inside the adapter is protected in bubble wrap. You have to mount the Contax lens on first, press the metal PIN. You then mount both the adapter and lens onto the Nikon Z body. The fit was very tight at first ( to the Z body ) but after several uses it becomes easier and reassuringly firm. There is no apparent play or wobble. The insides of the adapter is coated in matt black paint. Overall i am satisfied

Excellent. Neither the first K&F adapter I purchased nor the last! With K&F adapters I used many vintage lenses on Sony E mount until two years ago and then on Nikon Z mount until now.
K&F adapters are my favorite due to their efficient matte black inside finishing and to their precision mounts. Last but not least, due to their modern look. Widely recommended!

I got this adapter to adapt my Nikon AI-S lenses onto my Nikon Z 7 since it is much cheaper than the FTZ adapter and these lenses do not require electronic contacts. One thing that I immediately noticed was that the Nikon Z lens cap did not fit snugly on the adapter, which led me to suspect that there might be some play when attached to the body.Sure enough, I attached it to the body and there was just the slightest bit of play between the adapter and the camera body (something not present at all with my FTZ adapter). It wasn't enough to get me concerned, but it would have been nice if it snugly with no movement at all.On the lens side, my Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AI-S fit snugly and there was no movement at all so no complaints on that end.I did, however, notice one odd issue that popped up on the Z 7 with both this adapter and the FTZ adapter. Neither adapter will display the aperture setting of the lens. That's annoying, but you can work around it. Something that might be a deal breaker, however, involves the camera body itself. As of right now, I cannot get a meter reading on the camera body with either lens. This is not to say that the meter does not work as I've found Aperture Priority Mode to be accurate, but I like to shoot in Manual Mode with the LIVE EFFECT setting off and this is simply not reasonable on the Z 7 right now unless you are going to "Sunny 16" it. So just know that as of this writing (unless there's some setting I'm missing in the menu), you will have to either shoot in an Automatic/Semi-Automatic mode or rely on the Live View exposure in your EVF (or your In-EVF Histogram) as your actual meter reading will disappear in all metering modes. This applies to both this adapter and the FTZ so it's just a camera thing at this point that you'll have to consider. The 1-Star off is really just for the play between the camera body and the adapter.
