I purchased the adapter to use with my existing Yashica and Carl Zeiss lenses. Please note, the camera must be set to "relax without lens" otherwise it will not release.

This adapter allows me to use my old MINOLTA lenses on the Canon EOS R. Works well. The connections run smoothly and the lenses fit tightly. However, you must keep in mind that the aperture and distance on the lens must be set manually. On the EOS R, 'Relax without lens' must be activated (menu 5/5). Otherwise the camera will not flash. Set to Av timer.

All good, the quality seems good, it fits well on the body and the lens is neatly attached. Infinity focus is supported (not at the infinity mark, but that's probably the lens).

With the adapter I can finally use my old Zeiss lenses from analogue times on the Canon EOS RP, the first results are very good. The adapter fits extremely well, everything seems solid, hence a full 5 points.

Pairing is done correctly and relatively smoothly. The Canon obviously works in manual mode and everything works regularly. Recommended.

bought three adapters with a Canon R mount (one for Leica R, one for Contax and one for Minolta MD). They all reach exactly infinity. The internal anti-reflective paint is well made. When I check them with a caliber, the two sides of the adapters appear flush (but I don't have any large aperture lenses to test this on). On the camera side, they are all accurate and light-free. On the optical side I noticed a slight light infiltration on two adapters. Of course, I deliberately looked for it by bringing a 500 lux LED flashlight half a centimeter away from the adapter. In normal situations it is very unlikely that light will penetrate (perhaps on a donkey on the beach in August). I solved it anyway with a small rubber seal. If you shoot freehand, this is not necessary, the hand covers possible infiltration. Overall they seem like good adapters to me. Due to their robustness, they can withstand lenses up to 600/700 grams. However, I would not mount lenses larger than one kg on the nose.

With this adapter I can finally use my old FD lenses on my Canon RP camera! This works surprisingly well. Of course you have to focus manually again, there is no more Exif data except shutter speed and ISO values, but who cares. Mirrorless cameras often have so-called focus peaking (the focus area is highlighted in color), this is a good and fast way to get the subject in focus in the right place. I have something to complain about too! The locking ring, which holds the lens in place and at the same time ensures that the aperture can be adjusted, always rotates in the aperture direction. That sucks because if you don't check it constantly, the aperture will pop open! Lockable with a button would be better

The adapter is very well made. Fits perfectly on the Canon R. A Minolta MC Rokkor 1:1.7 55mm can be operated on it without any problems
