72mm ND2-ND32 (1-5 Stop) Variable ND Filter and CPL Circular Polarizing Filter 2 in 1 for Camera Lens No X Spot Weather Sealed Nano-Xcel
SKU: KF01.1086
I picked up this product because I needed an ND filter, and having the added benefit of a CPL+ND combo for only $30 more was too great of a deal to pass up. I really love it, it's very easy to use... but I can't believe I didn't think of this when I bought it: IT INTERPHERES WITH MY LENS HOOD.
I really like my lens hood. However, when thinking about this: if I had my lens hood wrapped around another option, I wouldn't be able to adjust the amount of light coming thru the filter... so I suppose when it comes to ND filters and lens hoods, you just have to pick one or the other. For that reason, this product gets 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise? It's a great option by every metric.

Overall I gave the product a 4. Reason is that if set at the ND value of ND2 and then adjust the polarizer for maximum effect, the adjusting the fader would cause a change of the polarization through the range. This may be the nature of such a device, but simply set the fader first and the adjust the polarization solves the issue. It may be just a quirk of this unique device. The only "negative" is that I need to find a lens cap to fit if I want to simply let this filter live on the lens. My 67mm cap is too small.

Bought this for my 35mm f2 which I am using on a Canon RP. I wanted it for slowing down the shutter speed for waterfalls I'll visit this summer, as well as deepening the blue in skies. It works as advertised. Nice metal build quality that feels well made. I like the stiffness on the variable ND part. It stays where I set it, and so far it's working great at reducing the light coming into the camera, allowing me to use longer shutter speeds to get the flowing water effect I was after. I usually use the polarizing part of the filter on the lowest ND setting. I'm adding two photos that I think show the polarizing effect pretty clearly. There is some colour difference between using the filter vs not as well as at different filter settings (rotations). I think this is pretty standard, at least I've observed it in the polarizing filters I've used in the past. I've been satisfied dealing with colour shifting using WB and calibration adjustments on raw files in Lightroom. I don't see any degradation in sharpness. I'm pretty picky and do view files at 100%. Very glad I purchased this filter combo. Great value for the money! I'll also add that I accidentally used it once over a thin UV filter and was glad to not see any vignetting.

I use the filter on a Tokina 12-24mm wide angle and on a Canon 18-135mm here with step up ring.
The polarizing filter does what it should but with the ND filter is from 50% a "darkening" to the middle of the image. A strong black shadow becomes visible. This notorious "X" shadow in the image is but with the variable filters, in this price category, tolerable....
I have single ND screw-on filters for the above lenses up to ND 1000, there I do not have these problems.
The filter comes in a padded plastic transport box, this is perfectly suitable for safe transport.

I purchased this filter after multiple times researching, and I am very happy with this filter. This one contains both Variable ND+CPL, which make it so easy and convenient to use, so I don’t have to switch back and forth between the 2 filters.I have only been able to play with these a few times so far but I am satisfied with them at this time. I ordered to use it on my Sony A6500 with the Rokinon wide angle lens 12mm F2.0. I have not noticed the problems more experienced photographers mention about why not to buy inexpensive filters. Before I use this filter, I noticed somewhat dull and differently exposed areas in my image (usually an underexposed foreground or an overexposed sky). By using this to shoot outdoors, it allowed me to capture vivid, realistic and surreal images and saved me lots of time from having to painstakingly post-process your photos afterward. The pictures I have taken have been nice and clear (aside from the ones that were my own fault!). These K&F ND+CPL filters are regarded as some of the best filters for landscape and travel photography as they reduce the dynamic range in high-contrast images, thus enabling me to capture more realistic and dramatic sceneries. I think they are great for learning how to use them and what effects you can get with them. Also, they protect the lens which is nice.

I took these test shots at the beach late afternoon on a very sunny day. I can see that the filter/polarizer took away any glare coming off the water, my dog's eyes are so clear with color! Very happy with my purchase.

I was really happy with this purchase. The K&F Concept 67mm Variable Fader ND2-ND32 ND Filter & CPL Circular Polarizing Filter 2 in 1 for Camera Lens No X Spot Weather Sealed is a great product and does exactly what it says it will do. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good ND filter and CPL filter.

I have owned a few filters before, having to switch them out for high stops. They will play an effect on color and image quality but with this one I don’t see a big effect on either and I don’t have to change out to get a longer exposure photo. Love it

These aren't the absolute, top-of-the-market ND or CPL filters. However, the difference between this and the absolute high-end ($200+) would be minimal. What makes this filter unique is the fact that it consists of both an ND filter and a CPL filter encased into one.
Having that simplicity is worth the price. Having to screw two different filters on your camera lens can get finicky. You're sure to get your money's worth for this filter.
I'm curious to see what k&f conceptr does in the future. So far, they're doing fantastic. I would definitely recommend this if you want the best of both worlds.

A very handy variable neutral density filter.
The build quality of this filter is equal to any that I’ve ever seen. The turning ring is very smooth and there’s enough to get a grip on but it’s still surprisingly narrow so it doesn’t really interfere with your lens. It’s hardly thicker than a single stage filter. The precision machines threads are also smooth and it goes on without any issues whatsoever.
I am definitely impressed that they’re able to produce a filter of this quality at this price. If you’re looking for a variable ND ,this is a very viable option.
