Got this as it is easier to carry than my tripod and can also be used as a walking stick. It's lightweight, robust and works well. I would recommend to anyone thinking about a monopod a it represents good value but as I try to photograph wildlife I realised that you need a swivel head to go with it as this is fixed. have now ordered.

A very good and robust monopod. It is made of aluminium, pretty light and it folds quite small, enough to fit into a regular bag. What i really like about it is the foam grip, and height, which make it perfectly useable as a walking stick, saving you a space in the bag. There is a spike at the bottom, which can be retracted, and a normal 3/4 screw at the top.Overall a very reasonably priced, yet high quality monopod. Recommended.
Awesome monopod for the price

Just what I required but a longer strap on the case would be great

Very sturdy and easy to collapse when the need occurs. I just got back from two weeks in Scotland and used it on the cobblestones and rough terrain to maintain my stability. Being able to put my camera on the top of it made it a lot easier for me to take pictures. BTW I weigh about 230 pounds and it kept me from falling several times.

Solid. Great for holding my camera to record my sons hockey games. Gives my arm a rest and eliminates the shakiness.

I love bird watching and stargazing ... But the problem is stability. This solves the issue. It easily attached to my binocular adaptor & provides really good stability. It is amazing that it extends to the best part of 6ft .. but folds compact and goes in its lightweight bag.It also doubles as a walking pole too ... Smashing item

Very light. Screws into bottom of camera easily. Toggles make adjustments quick and can be done whether holding while sitting or standing with camera. Monopod much simpler than tripod in terms of carrying while attached to camera and vertical adjustments or placement. Can hold camera upright by the staff and there’s not much strain on the photographer. Great for long events, sports, landscape photos. Not sure why I didn’t buy a monopod earlier

I'm no professional so I don't require the best of everything, just that everything works well enough for my needs and so far this does just that. it's light weight, sturdy, easy to use and packs easily onto the side of my photography back pack. I don't think I could be happier with it unless it made icy cold beer. Just buy it, it works just like the high dollar sticks do.
