This adapter works great. I have used it with two different vintage lenses and they work beautifully with both my Sony a6000 and my Sony a6400. Make sure to research how to use the Cannon FD Breech Lock Mount, it can be a little tricky at first but once you get the hang of it you can switch lenses in no time with this adapter. It does not affect image quality and has very good build quality as well.

Lock ring is annoyingly easy to twist considering FD is one of the more secure legacy mounts, but the clearances are nice and snug on an a6500 with all the FD lenses I’ve tried. Haven’t noticed any odd distortions or severe vignetting/leaks so all things considered well worth the money.

It works well. Read other reviews and questions here on Amazon before ordering so I knew how to install on my Canon FD 55mm 1.4 lens. I use it on a mirrorless Sony a6000. Used it in fully manual & aperture priority with success. Aperture priority was easiest and focusing with manual focus assist & peaking level at high.For me, I will buy again for another FD lens rather than use one adapter for multiple lenses. It's easy enough but does take time.
