If you want to take photos with it and would like to create a diffuse light, you will need to use an additional diffuser. This beautiful video light serves its purpose perfectly. First of all, it must be said that this model is made entirely of metal, probably aluminum. In terms of size, it is much more compact than comparable lights and therefore also much lighter in weight. It is of course lighter mainly because there is no removable battery. Less ballast and easier to handle in use and also more practical for transport. But the light is just as bright, or even significantly brighter, than comparable devices. And I like that. I already have a tripod from them and have now bought this video light for my DLSR camera. I have no regrets about the purchase. The battery charges quickly and seems to last forever.
