I suggest always using a UV filter, especially to protect the lens from dust, water and scratches. Given the price and first impressions I think this product is really good value for money. Really nice UV filters for the price. I love protecting my lenses but I find filters so expensive from the main brands, this is a nice alternative. They lost a star for sending me the incorrect size, but other than this I can't fault the product so far.

Not a bad little filter, but did experience a weird fogging on the glass when I first installed this filter but after 3 with a microfibre cloth and lens cleaner seemed to have sorted the problem. Picture quality is ok but compared to my Hoya filters it’s not as sharp, but it’s marginal to honest.

That's 100% the reason to buy one of these. Think of it like a screen protector for your phone. scratched? throw it away, buy a new one. Dirty or watermarked by the rain? wipe it off The point is that your expensive glass stays safe underneath.

My Olympus 60mm Macro lens now has this great filter attached. The lens comes with no hood, a poor front cap and obviously no filter. This one is now aboard together with a decent front cap and a third party lens hood. 46mm is a bit small and fiddly, but this has a really good knurled ring that is easy to grip. The thread is also very smooth and positive. The colour balance is undetectably different, so does not interfere when picture taking in well lit close up situations. I love the enhancement of this brilliant lens. Ricky.

Great filter, feels very high quality, images are still sharp, unfortunately massively dirty from the original packaging, fingerprints everywhere, but can be used again after 10 minutes of cleaning.

I was looking for a filter that would not be too expensive to mount in a case for the GoPro on the motorcycle. I've already lost a few filters due to the vibrations. This filter not only screws well and fits perfectly, but also surprised me with its quality. In the videos I get in 4K I don't see any distortions or aberrations or lack of sharpness... I recommend this brand.
