72mm version
Used with the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 Art Lens

Will this improve your photos?
Probably not.

I didn't notice much of a difference, even in bright sunlight. Maybe a minor polarizing effect, if that. Nothing that couldn't be done easily in post. However, it certainly doesn't noticeably reduce picture quality, it fits very well, feels solid, and is doing a fine job of protecting my $600+ lens. And the best part is, it actually made attaching and removing the Sigma-provided lens cap easier! (Seriously, Sigma your lenses are great but your caps really suck.)

I've used it a few times and I have no complaint yet. This will be updated over time

Thin lip, strong threading, coating looks even. Using both of them on orion 2x54 objective lens. Can't see any CA or distortion. Coating resist to cheap cotton shirts. Both came with good packaging and QA/QC. Digital picture effectiveness is unknown though. I would see this working as a protective cap for an asahi 50 f1.4

I would buy again with confidence.

It does a good job of protecting the lens without the use of a cap. Sometimes, you just have to grab the camera and use without thinking and fumbling with the cap.

The filter threaded onto my camera lens without issue, and is very clear. The case that it ships in has some protective foam inside of it as well, and has gone directly into the camera bag for future use if the UV Filter ever needs to be removed for other filter installs.

Very thin and smooth threading. Absolutely doesn't interfere with hood and cap snaps in easily
