I bought a cheaper Fotodiox adapter for my Helios 44-3 lens and it didn't allow me to adjust the focus ring. I replaced it with this adapter and this one works perfectly. It's convenient and also comes with a nice case.

The adapter fits wonderfully on the Sony E-mount. Some buyers have complained that the lens is not aligned correctly with the label on top. This ultimately depends on the original manufacturer of the camera and lens. I have various M42 lenses and they are never aligned 100% identically. For those who place a high value on the lens lettering being correctly aligned to the top, simply loosen the small grub screws a bit and you can then align the lens. Then tighten the grub screws again. Done.

I used this to adapt an older Nikon lens to my Sony A7iii cameraFit and finish of the unit is good and it does all that it was expected to do - there is no connection between the lens and the camera as it is full manual focus and f stop adjustmentif you accept this, then this adapter works just fineI can now use my larger old telephoto lens manually on my Sony camera

I knew this didn't autofocus - although it does meter correctly - when I bought it so that's not an issue. It's turned out to be an extremely cheap and cheerful way to try out my Nikon lens collection on an e-mount camera. Works a treat!

As with all K&F Concept Lens Mount Adaptors they are well made, provide a good fit and work as described. I have nearly a full set of the various mounts they produce and I have never had any issues with them at all. They have given new life to my vintage lenses, which in turn has given new life to my photography.
