I am using the adapter to use my Super-Takumar 50mm1.4 and the package includes a tool to remove the washer inside to enable it to use the aperture ring properly. The description says it's incompatible with Sony a7r2 but it does fit perfectly with no wiggle play. I've already ordered 3 and it all works perfectly.

Adapter fits perfectly on my Sony a6000. Looks and feels very well made. For a low investMent it allows you to use your legacy Minolta Rokkor lens. You can expand your lens collection inexplicably with those legacy SLR lens. I currently have a Minolta Rokkor MC 50mm and a Vivitar 85-205mm zoom; both fit perfectly to the adapter and the adapter to camera base. You just have go back to your roots and manually adjust all settings. Focusing was easy. I did notice a lag in the viewfinder when adjusting the f stop using the Vivitar zoom, but not difficult to get true view before shooting pics. Rokkor 50mm works great.
Just took a couple early morning pics with my Minolta 50mm. 1/320, ISO 3200, and f 1.7 (manual settings) Pic as shot and I didn’t do any editing/corrections. Enjoy!

By no means am I a pro photographer so take this with a grain of salt. I’ve been using it to adapt Yashica ML lens onto the Sony A6000. my initial thoughts after using it for the first 2 weeks are overall good but do have some criticisms. The adapter it self is solid, holding it you can tell it’s an all aluminum construction. Installing the adapter onto the camera was easy and adding the lens was a breeze. Its a basic adapter so no auto focus, no image stabilization, and no additional adjustment rings. This is not my criticism but adding that in for good measure. My criticism lies in that there is a bit of a gap between the adapter and the camera body. It’s a small gap, and I mean small, between the camera body and adapter. It’s not too big of a deal and haven’t noticed light leaks but it does cause a slight wiggle. For reference the gap between the lens and adapter is about the thickness of a sheet of printer paper. Image quality will depend on the lens itself but it does take some time to learn to use a manual focus lens. The test photo was taken to see accuracy. Toy was set 4ft away and shot at f3.5 using 75mm lens at 4ft focus marker on lens. Overall I would buy this adapter again I think it’s a great deal if u want to give new life to an old lens.

The product arrived very quickly. It feels heavy and of good quality. I have not been able to attach it to my Sony Alpha7ii yet, but it works well with the four legacy Minolta MD or MC lenses I have. Here's an image of a MD TELE ROKKOR-X 200mm 1:4 lens with the adapter in place. It fits VERY snuggly, and locks in place with a solid click. NO looseness whatsoever. The silver push pin on the adepter is a bit loose but does its job. Just line the adapter's red dot up with the red dot on the lens body and turn clockwise until it stops, (it will still feel a little loose at that point), then push a little harder for another eighth of a turn until you hear the adapter "click" and lock to the lens. The red dots on the adapter and on the lens body will be about an inch and a quarter from each other once the adapter is fully locked to the lens. If the adapter fits as snugly to the camera body as it does to the lens, it is going to be a very solid feeling experience. Note image #3 where the point of the pencil shows the adapter's pin locking in to a notch in the lens's stock Minolta mount.

I just received the NEW 2020 version of this adapter. It works great on my Sony A7 Riii. I have no problem changing canon lenses on and off of the adapter. It has anti flare treatment on the inside to reduce internal reflections. I highly recommend waiting until these become more widely available.

My wife's grandfather gave us his old SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.4 lens that we found at his house in Toronto. I put it away for a year and haven't thought about it. Eventually it was time for me to upgrade from my Canon 60D to a full frame, I decided to switch brands and go for the hip Sony mirrorless A7iii.
I was so happy but became estatic when I realized there was a trend to use old manual lenses on mirrorless cameras. I did some research and found this K&F K Mount to Sony E-mount adapter. Makes me overall want to get more K-mount lenses!
It works perfectly! It's all metal, feels so sturdy. The E-mount side and the K-mount side when attached to the body and lens respectively feel like a SOLID connection. There is no wobble or insecure feeling.
In terms of use, it of course inherently requires you to use manual mode. There is no glass or electronics to this adapter because the lenses for K mounts did not have autofocus at the time. But using old school manual focus hand control you can get SHARP great photos. Peak focusing works great.

If you hold the Depth of Field preview button (the button opposite the unlock button on the lens), that will manually stop down the aperture. Meaning, you are not just stuck at wide-open aperture. The only minor caveat is that you must hold this button down while you snap the photo. For some reason, the manufacturers of this adapter chose to include a stop that prevents the slider on the back of the lens from moving and thus stopping down the lens. This makes no sense to me why they'd go out of their way to prevent this very useful function.
Even more confusing is why it's so easily removed. You just need some precision screwdrivers and half a brain. Remove the four screws on the silver plate, lift the plate off the adapter, and then you will find one small screw holding the stop in place. Unscrew the screw and remove the stop. Then just reassemble the back plate with the orientation shown in the image (the notched blade is closest to where the text "OM" is printed).
You should be good to go! Now, if you hold the DoF preview button down while snapping your picture, the lens will stop down to whatever aperture you have the ring set to and you will be able to use the lens to its fullest potential. In auto mode, the camera will automatically adjust exposure once the aperture is stopped down.

I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. The material feels like metal and it has some weight to it for the size. It feels really well built. The one issue for me is the very, very short aperture throw. There are about 5 clicks from a wide open aperture to fully closed. I wish there was a longer arc to turn to adjust the aperture. A clickless option and f-stop markings would be nice too, but I guess that would increase the price.
It fits my Sony a6300 very well and my lenses fit well also. I would recommend once you know about the short aperture arc.
