I use this tripod with an iOptron Skyguider Pro and DSLR for astrophotography. It works great for that purpose as long as I keep a low center of gravity during long exposures. When either the center column or legs are fully extended with that much weight, it does become more prone to movement but that is to be expected. I love how portable and easy to set up it is. It's great quality for the cost.

My setup is approximately 5 lbs. and this tripod works great for my uses. The ball head is very smooth (although I had issues with the first ball head. I wrote K&F and they quickly resolved the issue and replaced the ball head.) All of the height adjustments are very smooth as well. One thing that I really like is that you can remove the rubber feet for outdoor use (that might sound silly but I will use outdoors a lot and taking off the rubber feet will save wear and tear on them.) I would recommend this tripod for light weight to mid weight use.

Great, versatile tripod. I moved from a big heavy studio Bogen to this. Depending on your equipment size/weight, you may want to add a drop down weight below the center (like a big rock, etc., tied up).

Awesome tripod for my Celestron Skymaster Pro 20x80 Binoculars. Make sure you lock the 360° ring nob along w/the other ones & it'll be very Secure.. I enjoy the 360° rotate and how you can choose what height you want with lots of options. Also easy2 open & close up. I like the ball rotater nob to view in all directions. Good price & Sweet Bag they give you. Idk why the shoulder strap is put on opposite side of regular handles but it's cool I guess.

Solid. The wind knocked it down on the first use. It's up to me to stabilize it.

Not bulky and very light, the central column lacks flexibility, the ball joint has difficulty supporting a lens that is a little long, it is difficult to tighten it correctly, despite these small problems, it remains a good tool.

The hyper modular side worried me a little but in the end it is not at all made at the expense of stability, except perhaps on the last 5 cm of deployment of the second upper bar The quality of manufacture has nothing to do envy the "big" brands, excellent travel tripod for everything Only regret: No carbon version with the upper adjustable stem, too bad otherwise it's what I would have ordered, it exists from a competitor ("free .... "), for 4.5 times more expensive!! Very happy with my purchase, even if it will take a little perspective on its solidity. Only one complaint: The bag provided is very good, and consistent with use while traveling, but why not include an inside pocket for accessories!? Also note:It is announced for 7 or 8Kg I believe but the ball head is not suitable: To be reserved for hybrids or small SLRs of around 1.5Kg with lens ... travel combo what :-)

Following a total change of my camera equipment from a reflex to a hybrid, I was looking for a new, lighter tripod. I initially directed my choice towards a carbon tripod of only 1.3KG, ideal to transport, so much that it took place directly in my backpack and no longer outside it was so light. 'Use was something else since I was used to an Alta Pro 263AT, following this change I lost this freedom of movement since I couldn't place my case in certain positions. After putting it in the closet for a bit, I decided to find a replacement for it and so I came across this model, certainly a little heavier by 300 grams but in the end which corresponds much better to my expectations thanks to the remote arm in addition to having the possibility of transforming the tripod into a monopod in a few seconds, which allowed me to separate myself from mine at the same time and to amortize the price of this tripod. Following the first tests, it's really flawless for the moment.➖➖➖ IN SUMMARY ➖➖➖✔️ Appreciable lightness combined with minimal bulk✔️ Possible shots from all possible and unimaginable angles✔️ An impression of solidity which I hope will last over time
