I do a lot of interview and news gathering work with a 3 light kit. These stands pack small and can handle small panels like the Aputure P60C easily. The stands are thin so expect thin and light, your not going to mount a heavy light on these but small panel leds and strobes are no sweat. I can now fit my 3 light kit and stands into one bag, that is super clutch when your carrying your gear from location to location every day.

These stands work in a pinch. They are not quite tall enough to be a true replacement. I’ve used them at weddings and other events.

I never imagined someone RE-designing the light stand but this is really a good design. It seems to be wider than most, it has a hook in the center to add extra weight, and just easier to use than the traditional stand with extra support in the center. And it folds so easier and feels very solid.
It also has a channeled design so the tube doesn’t twist and go down unnecessarily. It’s just an amazing design!

These are excellent. Very strong, and easily adjusted. You can change the footprint by changing the angle of the three bars that form the base. Especially with the base set on the wider settings you can hold much more than the stated capacity. I bought these to use on location shoots because they collapse into a short package, but I may use these for my studio shoots too.

Very pleased with this tripod. The adjustability is great and fast. So is set up. It was easy to set up for various heights and light weight as well. I also liked the length when fully closed was smaller than the tripod I was using previously. The storage bag is well made too. Glad I purchased this item.

Are there better stands out there? Yes. Are there better ones at this price point? Doubt it. If you’re looking for something lightweight and sturdy, I recommend giving this a try.

I bought this light stand to hold a 7 lb light. No issues and easy folds up to transport in a car or carry and its not heavy at all.
